This hip place is situated right on a beautiful mangrove river with Chepes Beach steps away at the opposite end. The small rooms are sliced like a pie into in an octagonal building, have two bunk beds apiece and share a bathroom. A few bigger double rooms were in the works when we passed. Kayaks and stand-up paddleboards are available to rent (L100 per hour).
Under the fantastic champa (thatched big top) there's a full restaurant/bar and an activities center organizes kayak tours, hog-roasts and even trips to Cayos Cochinos.
