This 500-acre hacienda, a two-minute boat ride across the cove from Bruno's, is a special place to stay. Activities include horseback riding, hiking, birdwatching, and walking and canopy tours around the rubber plantation and private nature reserve. Accommodations in lovely little cabins are connected by boardwalks. The pricier ones have kitchens and are well set up for families.
Most cabins face the water and there's a very relaxing pool/bar area. Access is by boat or by a road that turns off the highway about 1km north of the village. The folks here speak Spanish, English and French, and they'll pick you up from across the river.
