Theatre International Hostel

Guatemala City

Zona 1 is the key reason (and the only reason) to stay here, but keep expectations low because this place is in need of major TLC. Spotty wi-fi, long waits for bathrooms, and cluttered courtyard are downers, as is the lack of mosquito screening on the windows. Staff are helpful and the free breakfast is welcome, but that's about it.
