As in Wonderland, that is. Fruit of the budding imaginations of a Franco-Belgian pair, this slightly remote spread looks not at the lake but at a swath of jungle. Free-form, friendly and fun, it has dorms in fanciful huts with conical thatch roofs, a pair of neat colorful cabins and a tropical shower in a roundhouse, all connected by pebbly paths.
An open-air kitchen is the domain of a chef imported from Nantes. To reach Alice, go down the Jobompiche road about 1.5km; a signed track on the right angles uphill. The lake is a short walk away.
