Nereids

Corfu

Just below a huge curve in the road as you enter Paleokastritsa, this romantic spot is best experienced at night, when its terrace of ornamental rock pools and urns is softly lit. The dolmadhes (vine leaves stuffed with rice, and sometimes meat), meatballs in tomato sauce, kleftiko (slow-cooked meat) and stifadho (stew) are particularly recommended.
