Centrally located in a quiet street, this cheerful and professionally run hostel sleeps six to 12 people in clean, well-presented dorms (one is for women only). Dorms have comfy mattresses, personalised power points and good-size lockers, and it's a nice place to relax, with a sociable patio, a bar and a flowering garden. Offers excellent travel info for Crete and beyond.

Facilities include a communal kitchen, free snorkelling and beach gear, a book exchange and Chromecast TV. Cheap drinks keep things social, and breakfast is available for €3.
