Karalís Beach Hotel

Top choice in Messinia

Pylos' best hotel is this intimate place with 14 beautifully renovated rooms in a brilliant setting under the castle walls and right over the water. Those at the front have balconies and a real wow factor, with waves lapping below. There's an excellent family suite with huge private balcony, and a memorable upstairs chamber with double window and a stateroom feel.

The luminous breakfast area is also pleasant and there's a swimming platform with beach bar. Rates are significantly lower outside high season.
