This waterside taverna has been sizzling sensational seafood since 1960. With a rousing rembetika (blues songs) soundtrack and outdoor seating with views of the Aegean, an atmospheric feast is assured. Seafood is hard to decline, but if it's cooler and you have the appetite, consider dishes from Mt Athos like spoon-tender veal with orzo and cheese, baked in a ramekin.
Look for it about 70m along the gauntlet of other welcoming tavernas that runs north from the main pier.
