This wonderful spot, beside a traditional (and working) windmill, serves Karpathian dishes, some of which are cooked in a traditional oven. This means while you wrap your teeth around some of the island's best home-baked bread, or tuck into a goat stew, you can gaze across at one of Greece's finest views.
Sure, it's a touch touristy, but its sense of place, genuine hospitality and traditional cooking still helps bring the past to life and importantly, preserves traditions in this rapidly changing village.
