This convivial ouzerie (a taverna serving food that complements ouzo) sits on a quiet crossroads in Ano Poli. In operation since the 19th century, it boasts a tile-floored, stove-heated dining room, a flower-scented deck for warm weather, and a great way with grilled sardines, roast aubergine, meatballs and other ouzerie staples. Tea, wine and other nonouzo drinks are easily obtained.
