Kos Town

This incongruous place, behind the marina on a slightly 'busy' (for Kos) road, is worth the pilgrimage. Quality – not gourmet – Greek fare is the objective here. This means great grills, homemade mezedhes (appetisers; don't miss the meatballs) and even vegetarian dishes. There's a front and rear terrace; the latter is around a mulberry tree trunk. Friendly and family run.
