Turquoise tablecloths match the waves washing directly below the fabulous seafront terrace at friendly Flisvos, whose simple, superb Greek cooking excels. Appetisers such as tzatziki, taramasalata (thick purée of fish roe, potato, oil and lemon juice), feta-courgette fritters or halloumi with a squeeze of lemon are standouts, and there's excellent fresh fish plus traditional standards like mousakas and stifadho (meat, game or seafood cooked with onions in a tomato puree).
