Nautical Historical Museum

This small hillside museum documents Greek maritime history and Galaxidi’s once-flourishing shipbuilding industry, via logbooks, archaeological finds, lots of paintings and miniature models, and some splendid carved wooden figureheads from the 19th century.

Downstairs you’ll find a huge collection of naval-themed stamps from all over the world, plus a strange diorama depicting an underwater shipwreck.
