Iraklio

This long-running ouzerie (place that serves ouzo and light snacks) just a stone's throw from the fish market specialises in fish – usually freshly caught (if not, they let you know it's frozen, as is the case with the seafood), simply but expertly prepared and sold at fair prices. In summer, park yourself on the covered waterfront terrace.

It shares the terrace with several similar restaurants.
