Hotel Konstantinoupolis

Corfu Town

Positioned beside the Old Port, this hotel, which dates back to 1862, has been around longer than most and was a favourite of writer Lawrence Durrell. The initial impression is positive, with guests rattling up to the homely reception area in an ancient lift, but the rooms themselves (some with sea views) are plain and have no historical reminders.
