Avli

Athens

Cheap, cheerful and borderline chaotic on weekend nights, Avli requires you to squeeze down a narrow hall to get in; you'll probably wait for service if it's busy. The whitewashed walls and outdoor seating give you an island feel in the city, and the keftedhes (fried meatballs) and the special omelette, filled with fries and sausage, are excellent drinking food.
