With stunning views over the Temple of Olympian Zeus from the spacious front rooms, and a central (if busy) location, this is an old reliable hotel with a nominal modern makeover. Staff are friendly and breakfast is served on the superb rooftop terrace with 360-degree Athens views. One drawback: steady traffic noise; bargain interior rooms are quieter.
