Gigilos is right on the beach at the western end of the village. Its best rooms are at the front, on the beach road. They're clean and nicely furnished, with fridges and decent renovated bathrooms. The taverna, which serves home-cooked Cretan fare (mains €6 to €11), has a huge shady deck on the beach. Free beach chair and umbrella for guests.
