Rindenmühle

The Black Forest

This converted watermill houses one of Villingen’s smartest hotels, with forest walks right on its doorstep and a recently added spa and fitness area. Rooms are slick and decorated in muted hues. In the restaurant (mains €19 to €32), Martin Weisser creates award-winning flavours using home-grown organic produce, including chickens, geese and herbs from his garden.
