Hostel Mandaria

In a huge old Soviet building that was once a printing company, Mandaria is a hostel on a grand scale that is perfect for groups. There's a huge communal kitchen that is superbly equipped, lots of showers and toilets, and a vast lounge-dining space ideal for hanging out. It's a bit of a schlep from the city centre, but otherwise excellent.
