The hospitable Zandarashvili family provide good rooms, great food and homemade wine, and their house is deservedly a travellers’ favourite. Top-floor rooms are particularly attractive and bright, especially those with balconies overlooking the valley. All rooms have private bathrooms, except three downstairs that are a great bargain. Transfers from the bus station and wine tasting are complementary, and English is spoken.
The owners also offer day tours to Davit Gareja (30 GEL per person) and rent bikes.
