Hôtel La Chartreuse

The most acceptable of the cluster of basic hotels that line the riverbanks near the station, La Chartreuse is clean, friendly and has a breezy back garden where breakfast is served (€7). Bathrooms are tiny but get the job done. The area is a bit seedy but this hotel is ideal for late arrivals or early departures from Matabiau station.
