Gîte Le Vagabond

In the 150-year-old Le Brévent, once a stagecoach inn for travellers to Switzerland, Le Vagabond is Chamonix' most famous bunkhouse. Its rooms, some bearing signs of wear and tear, have four to six beds. There's a buzzing bar with a great log fire in winter. It's 850m southwest of the town centre.
