La Clef Louvre

Paris

The contemporary charm of this residence (serviced-apartment hotel) extends from the original sculptures and framed artworks in the lobby to the self-contained apartments. All have nifty compact kitchens fitted with fridges, hotplates, fine bone china, Nespresso machines and all-in-one washing machine/dryers; the pick are the corner apartments (ending with '3') with curvilinear windows overlooking the street. Service is outstanding.

Sparkling bathrooms have L'Occitane products. On the ground floor, the lounge has an honesty bar and adjoins the breakfast room (excellent breakfasts cost €25), where complimentary tea, coffee and snacks are served during the day. Extended-stay rates are available. Babysitting services can be arranged.
