Armed with cornerstones of cuisine from France's southwest, like cassoulet (rich bean, pork and duck stew), Le Clin d'Oeil transplants southerly sunshine straight to the Alps. Venison, scallops and cheese-laden vegetarian dishes are impeccably presented, though it's hard to beat their menu tout canard (featuring two rich duck courses). Bubbly service from endlessly helpful staff lifts Le Clin d'Oeil above its competition.
