GLO Hotel Art

Helsinki

Built in 1903 as the student clubhouse for the technical university opposite, this turreted art nouveau castle-like building features a dark but atmospheric vaulted lobby and 171 rooms spread over three adjoining buildings. The pick are in the original building; those in the newer extensions are plain with non-opening windows. On-site parking makes it handy for drivers.
