Hotel Carlton

Helsinki

Near the train station and very handy for trams and the metro, this small, friendly Best Western hotel has 21 rooms in several shapes and sizes, all with individual decoration, decent-sized bathrooms (several with Jacuzzis) and, despite the busy road, minimal street noise. Some have 3D TVs. It represents value by central Helsinki standards and has a bit of soul.
