Shangri-La’s Fijian Resort

Nadi, Suva & Viti Levu

Anchored offshore on its own private island, this resort is one of the Coral Coast’s premier (and biggest) hotels. Linked to the mainland by a causeway, the 442 rooms come in a variety of configurations and packages. If you like big resorts and armies of squealing kids don’t daunt you, you’ll enjoy the three swimming pools, excellent restaurants, tennis courts and – possibly – even the lovely wedding chapel.

While mum and dad nip off for a round of golf (nine holes $35) or toddle down to one of the Fijian’s swanky day spas or the adult-only pool, they can (lovingly) shunt junior into the child-care centre.
