These eight, roomy beachfront villas, each comprising two guest rooms with a shared verandah, are tucked 6km down a side road. It’s very bumpy, but OK for all vehicles in good weather. The resort fronts a lagoon and 2km of beach, with a historic (deserted) village site on the hill behind and a cave walk just along the coast.
It’s very secluded and you’d want good weather – or a good supply of books – to fully enjoy it. There’s power for a few hours each evening, though there are plans to bring mains electricity the extra mile required. The turn-off is about 5km from the Fijian on the Nadi side.
