With oodles of accommodation, eating, drinking and activity options, this sprawling resort is truly a world unto itself. Children are welcome in the garden bures and self-contained garden villas, but age limits apply at the beachfront bures, island villas and lagoon bures (a cluster of six airy cottages with private overwater verandahs).
There are free daily snorkelling trips to compensate for the low, low tides, along with free water sports, a village visit and farm tour; excursions to surf, dive and fishing spots can be arranged.
Dick’s Place Bar & Bistro is a hit for its gourmet meals and theme nights; private picnics and beach dining can also be arranged. On-site bars and those at the attached marina are more sociable than most resort watering holes.
