White Hart Inn

The Cotswolds

Appealingly old fashioned and comfily updated, this bubbly central inn caters particularly well to walkers and cyclists. Choose between the three cheaper ‘rambler-style’ rooms, with shared bathrooms and iron bedsteads, or the six en-suite rooms. Downstairs there’s only minimal bar seating, but the cosy restaurant serves a decent gastropub menu (dishes £11 to £25).
