The White Swan

Northwest England

It mightn't look like much from the outside, but this pub in the working village of Fence serves simply outstanding Modern British cuisine. It's all courtesy of chef Tom Parker, who cut his chops in the kitchen of Michelin-starred Nigel Haworth at Northcote. The menu is deliberately small – only three mains – but oh so good.
