Located in a fine Georgian townhouse, this Michelin-starred restaurant can be found by following the birch trees that lead (literally) inside. The menu uses both local and Scandinavian ingredients (Icelandic cod or scallops from Skye) of impeccable quality, with unexpected exotic accompaniments such as yuzu and kaffir lime leaves. It's much awarded and always popular, so book ahead.
The two-/three-course set lunch is a budgeter's delight at just £29/34, while those with more to spend might consider the seafood tasting menu (£99; with wines paired from £80). There's even a vegan tasting menu (£99).
