The Puppet Theatre Barge, which is permanently moored in Little Venice

Puppet Theatre Barge

Top choice in Notting Hill & West London

This utterly charming marionette (aka puppet) theatre can be found in a converted barge moored in Little Venice – an area as pretty as it sounds. The theatre has been here for almost 40 years and holds regular performances during weekends and school holidays. Ducking into its interior to see a show is an intimate, magical experience.

From mid-July to October it moves home and can be found on the River Thames in delightful Richmond, southwest London.
