Yew Tree Farm

There are floral patterns galore at this sturdy Cumbrian farmhouse in rural Rosthwaite, with three rooms snuggled among cob walls and tiny windows (no wi-fi or TV!). It's run by working sheep farmers and you'll be able to spot Herdwicks in the nearby fields. Breakfast is huge and the Flock In Tea-Room over the road serves delicious cakes and puddings.
