Dominating Na'ama Bay's northern cliff, this whitewashed hotel terraces majestically down towards the sea like a sultan's palace. Standard rooms are surprisingly bland and could do with a revamp, but the breakfast, views and facilities (five private beaches, spa, pool, dive centre and on-site horse stables) are five-star.
The major bonus to staying here is that unlike most of Sharm's megaresorts, you can easily stroll into Na'ama Bay. Excellent stuff if you're not the sort of person who wants to feel corralled within the resort. Make sure to check online for deals when booking; outside of high season, you can sometimes bag a room for less than half price.
