Koshary Goha

Cairo

Egyptian families know a good deal when they see one, and that's why Koshary Goha's outdoor tables are often packed solid in the evening. The kushari (mix of noodles, rice and black lentils) here is seriously good with liberal sprinklings of fried onions and a proper hot sauce on the side. But the real treat is the makaroneh bi lahm, a baked pasta casserole with spicy tomato sauce.
