Portal de Cantuña

Quito

Hidden down an alleyway, this beautifully restored mid-19th-century building once housed an order of nuns. No doubt they would have been distracted by the charming stained-glass window covering the inner courtyard, the gold leaf and baroque decorations, and an overall feeling of warmth and comfort. Wi-fi is generally only available in the lobby area.
