Casa de Romero

Guayaquil

For a taste of downtown guayaquileño living, try this friendly place with nine good-sized rooms located over two floors in a high-rise apartment building. All rooms come with TVs, and some with balconies. There's also an attractive lounge area and a clean common kitchen and laundry ($6 minimum) for guests. Continental breakfast is included.

It may look uninviting from the outside, but the bell located on the left side of the steel gates is answered 24 hours. Look for the sign that says 'Timbre Casa Romero, 7-1.'
