Yolanda Cabrera has become famous for delicious local fare such as tortillas de maíz (corn tortillas), empanaditas (Spanish pies) and the local favorite of fritada (fried chunks of pork, served with mote). Of course, the real attraction is her chicha de yamor (a fermented corn drink), which is stirred out back in bubbling cauldrons over smoky fires. Look for the yellow sidewalk sign.
