Pierre and Monick, the charming French-Canadian owners of this B&B, are consummate hosts and have been renting two rooms on either side of their cozy home for nearly 35 years – each room has a separate entrance and hammock. It's only 25m or so north of the main intersection on your right as you’re walking toward the beach.
The house is fronted by a long, well-maintained garden where tasty breakfasts (including delicious homemade bread) are served (RD$400 for nonguests). When you tire of DR’s ubiquitous restaurant offerings, Monick can whip up her take on Asian cuisine for you. It’s not the fanciest spot in town, but the hospitality is as warm as the sand.
