If a beachfront location isn’t a priority, then this small, vaguely suburban property down a dirt road 200m or so from Playa Encuentro is a nice place to ensconce yourself – especially if you’re a surfer. A handful of modern, bungalow-style studio apartments with kitchenettes and attractive wooden porches surround a quiet garden courtyard and small pool.
It also features a ping-pong table and rents scooters and bicycles, so you can get into town easily. Of course surf and kitesurf lessons are available, as well as on-site yoga.
