It’s very hard to eat this well for these prices in the DR, but this spaghetteria specializes in classic pasta recipes such as all’amatriciana (tomato sauce, bacon and chili – our fave), carbonara, all’arrabbiata and aglio, olio e peperoncino (garlic, olive oil and chili powder), as well as local adaptations (lambi, or conch, in fresh tomato sauce).
It's yet another endlessly charming spot near Playa Bayahibe, overseen by a one-woman show in the kitchen – hence service can be slow. Dishes are palatably simple – concentrating on flavor nuance rather than huge portions or other gastro bells and whistles – and priced to please.
