La Dolce Vita

Helsingør

Certainly Helsingør has cheaper places if you just want packet pasta, but for genuine spirited Italian food in a beautiful old half-timbered house (and garden), La Dolce Vita is well worth the extra investment. The menu stretches to monkfish gratin in garlic and rosemary, or red wine guinea fowl with truffles.

Don't be put off by the restaurant's website, which distinctly undersells the place.
