Very handy for the HCA Quarter, this light, bright 43-room hotel has comfortable, very clean if unremarkable rooms with slightly faded art prints off corridors that feel like an upmarket hospital. While there's no in-room kettle, guests can help themselves from a coffee machine beside the hostel-style breakfast room. The communal lounge is nicer with a colourful 1859 clock and fireplace.
There's just a handful of free parking spaces offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Smokers can use the functional roof terrace. Prices drop on weekends.
