Illum

Copenhagen

Illum is CPH's answer to Selfridges or Bloomingdales. That said, the range of fashion is rather stock standard, with mainly mainstream local and international brands. Nordic labels worth looking out for include Filippa K, Acne Studios and Won Hundred. The revamped basement is now a branch of Italian gourmet marketplace Eataly while the rooftop serves up global flavours with terrace views.

Design fans may be interested to know that Illum's renovated atrium is the work of renowned Italian architect Claudio Silvestrin.
