With a playful interior channelling the streets of Vietnam, casual, convivial District Tonkin peddles fresh, gut-filling bánh mì (Vietnamese baguettes), stuffed with coriander, fresh chilli and combos like Vietnamese sausage with marinated pork, homemade pâté and BBQ sauce. The menu also includes gorgeous, less-common Vietnamese soups, among them tomato-based xíu mai (with pork and mushroom meatballs).
The aromatic beef pho is served from 5.30pm only and is not available to take away.
