Located just 1.5km south of Pano Panagia in a beautiful setting 850m above sea level, this peaceful monastery dates from 1152 and features an unusual triangular cloister, built of red stone, and some fine frescos. There is also a small gift shop and museum with a display of icons. The shaded terrace is a delightful place to enjoy a light snack from the adjacent cafe.
