Lighthouse Beach Bar

Top choice in Pafos

The recommended route here is via the 1.7km coastal path from Pafos Castle; by car it is trickier, but still possible via the Tombs of the Kings road. When you do arrive, you’ll find this is what a beach bar should be: a Bob Marley soundtrack, seamless sea views and sand between your toes while you sip something long and cool.

Light eats are available and kids will love the homegrown-style playground with rope swings and tyre tunnels. Live music in the summer completes the laid-back boho feel. You can also rent sunbeds (€2.50 per day). Apparently the mayor is not happy about the bar's beach setting, but word is that it will be staying put. Let's hope so.
