Sham

Nicosia (Lefkosia)

Sham serves Syrian-style shawarma (meat sliced from a rotating spit), stuffed with all the salad and sauces you could want, plus falafel and haloumi sandwiches. It's all cheap, filling and tasty. If you want the lamb or mixed (lamb and chicken) shawarma you're going to have to hightail it here before 3pm; the lamb is nearly always finished by mid-afternoon.
